Job Description: As the Business Development and Marketing Manager at Swiftly Telemedicine, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth and success of our platform, connecting healthcare professionals with patients in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development:
    • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand Swiftly's presence and user base in urban and rural areas of Uganda.
    • Identify and establish partnerships with healthcare institutions, clinics, and local healthcare providers to enhance our service offerings.
  2. Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to understand the healthcare landscape in Uganda, identifying opportunities, market trends, and customer needs.
    • Analyze competitors and market dynamics to position Swiftly effectively.
  3. Marketing Strategy:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to build brand awareness and drive patient and healthcare provider acquisition.
    • Oversee digital marketing campaigns, content marketing, and social media efforts to promote Swiftly's services.
  4. Public Relations and Outreach:
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community leaders.
    • Engage in public relations efforts to promote Swiftly's mission and achievements.
  5. User Engagement:
    • Collaborate with the product and customer support teams to enhance the user experience, ensuring that patient and healthcare provider needs are met.
  6. Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage the marketing and business development budget, optimizing spending for maximum ROI.
  7. Sales and Partnership Building:
    • Create and lead a sales team focused on acquiring healthcare providers and partners to join the Swiftly platform.
    • Negotiate partnerships and contracts to expand the network of healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, marketing, and strategy development.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare industry in Uganda, particularly in rural and underserved areas.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with digital marketing and content creation.
  • Passion for improving healthcare accessibility in underserved communities.
