Job Description: As the Operations Manager at Swiftly Telemedicine, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless and efficient functioning of our telemedicine platform. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, optimizing processes, and delivering a high-quality experience to our users.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operations Strategy:
    • Develop and implement operational strategies that support Swiftly's mission and business goals.
    • Streamline operations to ensure efficient service delivery to patients and healthcare professionals.
  2. Team Management:
    • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing operations team to execute and oversee daily tasks.
    • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
  3. Process Optimization:
    • Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes, identifying areas for efficiency gains and cost reduction.
    • Implement and manage systems and tools to streamline operations.
  4. Quality Assurance:
    • Establish and enforce quality assurance standards to ensure the delivery of excellent healthcare services.
    • Monitor the performance of healthcare professionals on the platform.
  5. User Support:
    • Oversee a customer support team to address user inquiries, issues, and concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Develop and maintain user support protocols and procedures.
  6. Logistics and Supply Chain:
    • Manage the logistics of telemedicine equipment, ensuring that healthcare providers have the necessary tools to conduct video consultations.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  7. Compliance and Regulations:
    • Ensure that Swiftly complies with all relevant healthcare regulations and data protection laws in Uganda.
    • Monitor and maintain adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  8. Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage the operations budget, allocating resources efficiently and cost-effectively.


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the healthcare or telemedicine sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance in Uganda.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
